Derek has a tremendous amount of knowledge in the transportation industry. He instills a very strong and direct work ethic, while taking time to understand everyone he deals with as a person. He has instilled the best customer approach within the team which allows everyone to be very flexible within their work. As leader he is very approachable, as he takes time to gather all information.
Jerry has a rather unique role within the group as he has several successful stand alone business units which he owns and operates in and around the Saskatoon area. His role here at Silver Star is one of being a voice of reason acting as coach and mentor, always listening and asking questions to help all with our job duties. He is a very honest, ethical, and approachable person who really cares for people and looks out for everyone's best interest. It's a privilege to have someone like Jerry on the team.
Allyn has long tentacles in most areas of the trucking industry. At present Allyn supports the Maintenance and Human Resource side working with drivers supporting their needs while keeping a watchful eye on our Maintenance policy. It’s not unusual to find Allyn helping in Dispatch a couple of hours a day working to ensure he has a pulse on the day to day issues within the company. Allyn is always willing to help anyone he can at anytime.
Brandi has experience in the transportation industry. She manages most of the accounting function for the group including accounts receivable and payable. As you can imagine throughout the day she is busy sorting out all paperwork problems with billing and driver reports.
